It has been an interesting start to 2010. I have been struggling with my blog and feeling inadequate in my skills to make an interesting post. One of the things that I have been doing recently that isn't healthy is something that we all struggle with at one point in our lives: comparing ourselves to others.
When it comes to my blog, I cannot help but feel small and incompetent. When I read my favorite websites or blogs on a daily basis, I am in awe in the wonderful talent of these authors. Two of the biggest obstacles I face are two factors that these authors have: money and time. If I want a beautiful blog that shares the experiences of my life with Paul, I need a better camera, a Photoshop editing program, and a new computer. Another issue is finding the time to sit down on a regular basis to type out any thoughts or experiences that may have happened.
Today, as I was contemplating my "issues" regarding to my blog, it dawned upon me... who cares? Its not my goal to become a professional blogger and I am doing this mostly just to have an outlet and to keep my family updated on life in Nanook.
